Integral customised cooling and humidification equipment.
Porinox has designed and manufactured the cooling and humidification system for the pig breeding farm in the province of Teruel. This is a vital facility, as it is located in the south of Aragon, one of the driest and hottest areas of Spain.
We offer integral cooling modules with a wide variety of standard sizes, both in width, height and depth, which can be combined with each other, giving rise to an endless number of dimensional options to fit in with your windows. However, if the openings of the building to be cooled have special dimensions, as has been the case, and the customer wishes, we also design the modules to measure for a perfect fit.
The cooling system with integral humidifiers has been chosen in order to be able to regulate the temperature and humidity individually in each house. This allows the humidity and temperature levels to be adjusted according to the needs of the piglets and mothers in each house and phase.
The cooling and humidification equipment, made of AISI 304 stainless steel installed in this project, are of different sizes and are subdivided and distributed according to the maternity phases as follows:
1ST WEANING SHED
- 10 7.2x2x0.4 m integral modules
- 1 module of 4.8x2x0.4 m
2ND GESTATION SHED
- 44 modules of 2.4×1.5×0.4 m
- 6 modules 1.8×1.5×0.4 m
- 44 modules of 3.6×1.5×0.4 m
3RD MATERNITY WARD
- 8 integral modules 6.6x2x0.4 m
In this project for the refrigeration of a mother farm, the client has opted for the model of cellulose panel 15 cm thick to increase the cooling capacity. This decision has resulted in higher performance of the integral cooling and humidification equipment with lower consumption.
