Humidified ventilation. The best cooling for the summer.

Porinox has developed an innovative ventilation and humidification system for the fattening farm located in Sástago, Aragón, on the banks of the river Ebro. This system, known as Airflow, represents the state of the art in terms of cooling and environmental control.

The concept of Airflow is materialised through strategically placed cooling modules on both sides of the windows, both inside and outside of the installation.

On the inside, powerful fans with directional louvers are able to suck in up to 24,000 m³ /h of fresh, humidified air, while on the outside, AISI 304 stainless steel cooling modules, equipped with advanced hydraulics and a 15 cm thick cellulose layer, ensure optimum efficiency.

The versatility of Airflow is manifested in its ability to adapt to a wide range of window sizes, thanks to the ingenious channeling that adjusts the opening to the fan dimensions, thus providing a customised solution for each installation.

In total, 10 cooling and humidification units have been installed, evenly distributed with 5 units per fattening house. These units are equipped with temperature control devices that coordinate the opening of windows with the operation of the air conditioning systems. Airflow, ensuring an optimal environment at all times.

Each refrigeration unit Airflow includes a powerful fan with an output of 0.55 kW, an integral cooler with dimensions 2.4x2x0.45 metres, and a cellulose layer 15 cm thick., carefully designed and selected elements to meet the exacting technical demands of the project.

Porinox's engineering team has worked diligently to fine-tune and adapt Porinox's Airflow to the unique technical specifications of this refrigeration project, thus ensuring optimal performance and outstanding efficiency in the bait installation.
