Disinfection arch at a farm in Lérida
This project, located in Lérida, has been successfully implemented by Serviporc, The installation of a disinfection arch in a pig farm. A concrete slab for the arch has been built on this farm.
Biosecurity on pig farms is of utmost importance to ensure animal health and welfare as well as to prevent the spread of diseases. According to the Royal Decree 306/2020 in article 5 paragraph 2.d. it is obligatory to have in place disinfection arches for vehicles entering the farm. The Porinox disinfection arch is developed and tested by biosecurity experts in the industry, and is presented as an effective solution for disinfecting vehicles entering the farm.
Characteristics of the arc
- Material: Stainless steel, guaranteeing durability and corrosion resistance.

- Storage shed: A Porpanel hut®, If desired, to protect the tank and the disinfection arc mechanisms from the weather conditions and to ensure proper maintenance.
- Wheel bath: This element ensures that both the tyres and the underside of the vehicles are properly disinfected. It also prevents vehicles from travelling at excessive speed.
